what are friends for...? a longer life!

ohk guys....so here is the latest research/study/report bla bla bla...well, obviously not so latest, considering the fact that it came to light last year sometime, but yeah...for us SIMC-ians, it sure is new!

so, here's the deal i am putting up in front of you...just one month...no, wait that would be real less....3 months...(haha! shaan...3 again! ;) ). yes, so guys 3 months thats' all i ask for...don't try...just think, 'cuz trying it might kill you...it killed me for a whole lotta good time...2 years! yep. neway...what i am saying is...for 3 months just think of your life without any friends. in your life. around you. not talking to you, or you not talking to them.

wow. would surely feel great! wouldn't it?

hell no. it would kill you...! it killed me too...but i somehow managed to keep alive, my parents' hopes and expectations were at stake...and then, at that point of time, even your life doesn'r matter...you put it behind too to achieve something to shine in the eyes of your parents. so thats what kept me alive, even when i was dead.

and then, guys imagine, after those three months, that one friend walks in...lalalalaaaaa....and in walks sunshine, right in your life...tell me...yes or no...?

that's what the experts did. isolated people, for a period of 3-4 months and then sent along a friend. and the person who was almost on the verge of killing himself, saw a new life right there. they even saw this in amongst the old aged. those who were lonely, or had been, died faster, or were going through various problems, but those, who had friends...they are still alive, and kickin' ! :)

so yo guys! be it just one or many...keep ur buds right alongwith you...and see life shines more...

ta da!
till next time...toodles!

  2. hi pushkal. first of i am surprised to see a person not from my batch, from my probable-junior batch to have commented on this blog of simc-ug 2012. i'd like to ask you from where did you find out about this blog?
ok, now comes out the part to help you out. just pay more attention on current affairs, read as many news articles you can, watch news! most important...buy yourself the newest edition of manorama. umm...join some classes which specialise in giving training to young aspirants like you. even i did. career forum, in pune. search around your place, you know aas paas pata karo, koi na koi classes mil jaengi. basically, achi general knowledge, logical and analytical reasoning, english, thodi si maths-ye sab me tum ache ho naa...toh easily pass ho jaoge. mujhe hi dekh le...i started studyin just 1 week before the exams...i got in. i am not saying its' a piece of cake, but its' not difficult even. chill mar, thodi bahot padhai jaari rakh. through ho jaega. :)

  3. Thank you tejaswini, now since you are an insider, what do you reckon about SIMC-UG? I mean is it the best place in India for pursuing BMM? Because others are advicing me to take up some college in either mumbai or Delhi university as they offer more exposure. My focus is on journalism.

  5. umm...if you want to pursue journalism, then i would personally suggest st. xaviers in mumbai, though i do not know as to where it stands right now. my college, that is symbiosis institute of media and communication offers you BMS that is bachelors' of media studies. and here also we have a good exposure and real good course for journalism. it doesn't kick start as soon as you get into SIMC, but yeah...starts off on a meager basis. in the 3rd year you have to specialize in one major subject and 1 minor. so there you can take on journalism as your main subject. and who knows your opinion might change completely after coming here, and you might come to know your interests lie somewhere else completely, as you will get exposed to not only journalism but many other subjects as well. mine did. i came in with journalism on my mind, but now see...i am interested in A>V. and photography.

and surely i would check out your blogs too. :)
